Here Linda holds her son George with one arm and blows into the Australian instrument the didgeridoo with the other! Impressive!
Linda moved from Alabama, and originally came from China. She discovered Music Together as she took her six month old son to a Music Together class. The music- making enlightened her baby's every neuron and took her back to the music world again that she had missed for so long.
Even though Linda has two degrees in Masters in Communication area from Hong Kong and US, she studied music for over ten years since three or four years old. She plays piano, accordion, and harmonica, and composed music. Her singing performance was selected and recorded by China Central Television. What's more, she deeply understands how music can influence the little ones and their future.
As a music together mom, she insists that sending her son to Music Together is definitely the right thing. By singing, playing instruments, and dancing with her son, he imitates, develops and knows himself, and establishes relationships with mom, classmates, and the world. It's an education for both children and parents; it's a fantastic dialogue between children and parents. Through music, there's more to explore.
As a native Chinese mandarin speaker, Linda was inspired by Bunny Chen's "Music Together with Mandarin" class in Dublin and Blackhawk during this summer 2017 session. Linda hopes to create the same playful music experiences for parents and children in her classes too.
